My first impression at Kori & Fay Asian Fine Dining was clean and straight … If you look around you can see orange and brown interior in the whole restaurant. The second impression you get is the noise. The wonderful brawling of water attands you the whole visit. I really love that…. a big wall of water on the left of the mainroom with a small buddha statue full of orchids…. but you can forget all the nice ambient if the meal is bad.

As the title say….at Kori & Fay you get all the wonderful asian fine dining you need. i started with HORS  D´OUEVRE  „KORI & FAY2“ …. a great choice of seafood… very tasty and fresh. After the Starter i orderd “Grilled Prawns with a special Kori and Fay sauce” … very good.. but it could be a little bit more… just one or two …. Last but not least .. i choose Original American Brownie with chocolate ice, baileys irish cream and fresh orange

The result of this visit… 9 of 10 points! Why nine and not 10? .. ’cause they located in my old favourite cinema and after closing the lovely hollywood cinema i missed it really. Now the restaurant is directly where i see many good movies…. but its definitely a good replacement.

Ishin means “wholehearted”. That’s what the restaurant served every day - cheap, fresh and delicious japanese food. You can choose from a big selection of traditional sushi or you can try Cey-Ro. … no sorry you should try Cey-RO… The taste of stewed fish or meat on japanese rice with fine tamago stripes and typical asian vegetables (root of lotus, shiitake mushrooms and more) is unbeatable for me. No another mistake of this report, there is one of their dishes that beats everything in the restaurant. Try the wonderful BENTO-Box with a daily mixed selection of all the fine warm and cold food of Japan for just 9 EUR. Enjoy this Bento box with a nice view from the 4th floor of the Galleria with a cup of tea for free or get this box to take away (much more better than every fast food you can get).

“It doesn’t matter if you are a nuclear physics nobel price winner, nutrition company CEO, news anchorman a nudist camp leader or a drag Queen. As long as you’re here for the finest asian noodle dishes in town…” and my alltime favourite main dish of this wonderful Restaurant - 1 kg Black Tiger Prawns with spicy-lime-ginger- & homemade Aioli-dip, Myxao-noodles, thai-rice & wok vegetables. You have to start with canapé platter with Tuna fish kebab, vegetarian spring roll, marta bak, Fried won ton, shrimp ans sweet potato tempura - its unbelievable. After meal you can relaxing and chilling with good sound and a huge light panel at the bar or… eating the stuff

I stay once or twice a month at this cool styled asian restaurant… and i could say you will get one of the best service in Berlin or you can eat them

Do you like Sushi? No?.. no problem. Kushinoya, europe’s first Kushige Restaurant, is the perfect choice for all people who don’t like uncooked fish but really want to try the japanese kitchen. Personally i like fresh Sushi but i love Kushinoya where you can get the one and only KUSHIAGE Food. Kushiage is Japanese-style deep-fried fish, seafood, vegetables or meat. “KUSHI” means skewers usually Bamboo sticks and “AGE” means deep-frying in Japanese. Its perfect served step by step, arranged on a very stylish place setting.

Every kind of food has got a special dipping sauce, but i don’t have to explain it now.. you will get the best explanation by the perfect staff of Kushinoya. And if you need a proper drink - you have to try one of the biggest SAKE rice wine selection i could find in Berlin till now. Ifyou are sceptical because “deep-fried” in europe means extremely lardy - believe me… it’s NOT.

When I was a child (a million years ago) I stayed in the french part of switzerland three times - on a wonderful old farm between the mountains covered with snow. Today I remember just two or three things of these holidays. One of them is the wonderful traditional cuisine of Switzerland called “Raclette”. Its a kind of cheese fondue in a very special way. If you like cheese and a mix up between french und swiss cuisine - these little restaurant in Berlin “Kreuzberg” can give you a very special evening. A Tip: you have to choose the Raclette Royal Version and after main course try the homemade “creme brulee”… Tres Magnifique!
