First Impression of the CSD Berlin 2008

Posted on Juni 28th, 2008 by admin

Just between the parade and one of the best parties in Berlin - the legendary Boheme Sauvage - I will write a short view of the CSD Berlin 2008. The weather was horrible, wet and cold… but the mood was hot. We were on the road for 7 hours and it was a hard walk - but the impressions were perfect. Meeting so many friendly people who have fun and dance all the time was lovely. Ok.. my feet are burning and my hair got wet, but I am here to show you the first impressions of the CSD 2008 in Berlin.

Special Japanese Food @ Kushinoya

Posted on Juni 25th, 2008 by admin

Do you like Sushi? No?.. no problem. Kushinoya, europe’s first Kushige Restaurant, is the perfect choice for all people who don’t like uncooked fish but really want to try the japanese kitchen. Personally i like fresh Sushi but i love Kushinoya where you can get the one and only KUSHIAGE Food. Kushiage is Japanese-style deep-fried fish, seafood, vegetables or meat. “KUSHI” means skewers usually Bamboo sticks and “AGE” means deep-frying in Japanese. Its perfect served step by step, arranged on a very stylish place setting.

Every kind of food has got a special dipping sauce, but i don’t have to explain it now.. you will get the best explanation by the perfect staff of Kushinoya. And if you need a proper drink - you have to try one of the biggest SAKE rice wine selection i could find in Berlin till now. Ifyou are sceptical because “deep-fried” in europe means extremely lardy - believe me… it’s NOT.

Facts: Kushinoya, Bleibtreustr. 6, 10623 Berlin, you have to reserve a table!! (030) 318 098 97
Open from Thu - So 6pm - 12pm

That’s not queer enough for you? OK - have a look at my youtube channel to find more. And don’t forget next weekend you can see more of that wonderful performances live and in color *lol*

Kylie Minogue @ Colorline Arena Hamburg

Posted on Juni 20th, 2008 by admin

After Gwen Stefanie, P!nk and more i had to visit Kylie on her KylieX2008 Tour. But this time my visit of the concert was different. Me and my friends tried to copy Kylie’s outfits of her showgirl and homecoming tour. After days of stitching, threading, sticking crystals and getting all the stuff we need to be a real Kylie, we reached the Colorline Arena of Hamburg in our marvellous costumes. It was a great show - nooo… it was the best show ever of Kylie Minogue and after that… we were the show.

We left the Colorline Arena and hundreds of people want to have photos of us… i think ’cause they can’t get a pic of Mrs Minogue - we are the perfect “second” choice to get a glamorous memory. ;-)
And we loved it *smile* … ok. After more than a hour, stopping by to take a photo, we reached the car to drive to another event. We are the VIP modelstars of a Photographer festival. What a strange feeling to be famous *lol* after being target of many cameras we went to the Reeperbahn and found another location to being showgirls. To walk over the “Reeperbahn”, one of the two centres of Hamburg’s nightlife, was another strange experience. We get all reactions people can showing you, positive and of course negative — but thats OK. At the end we had so much fun. I can’t wait to wear this costume again… but i will change a little bit and soon the burlesque showgirl will be back *lol* If you visit Berlin on the CSD Weekend keep your eyes open for Showgirls.

Swiss Cuisine @ La Raclette

Posted on Juni 18th, 2008 by admin

When I was a child (a million years ago) I stayed in the french part of switzerland three times - on a wonderful old farm between the mountains covered with snow. Today I remember just two or three things of these holidays. One of them is the wonderful traditional cuisine of Switzerland called “Raclette”. Its a kind of cheese fondue in a very special way. If you like cheese and a mix up between french und swiss cuisine - these little restaurant in Berlin “Kreuzberg” can give you a very special evening. A Tip: you have to choose the Raclette Royal Version and after main course try the homemade “creme brulee”… Tres Magnifique!
